BC Emergency Benefit For Workers
The BC government is now accepting applications for the one-time, tax-free, BC Emergency Benefit for Workers payment of $1,000.
To be eligible, you must:
- Be a resident of BC on March 15, 2020;
- Be at least 15 years old on the date you apply;
- Have been approved for the CERB;
- Have filed, or agree to file, a 2019 Income Tax Return;
- Not be receiving provincial income assistance or disability assistance.
