Jonas Schuetz, CPA

Jonas, an accountant at Avisar, is primarily focused on the timely preparation of client projects and assisting the management team with mentorship and training of the firms accounting students. Jonas enjoys helping clients with their financial, accounting, and tax needs, especially when he is able to resolve a problem or suggest a viable improvement.

Jonas was born and raised in Germany and became a permanent resident of Canada in 2021. Prior to joining Avisar, he attended Trinity Western University (TWU) where with passion, ingenuity and determination pursued his undergraduate degree as an international student. Jonas earned his Bachelor of Business Administration (Honours) degree in Accounting and Finance in 2018. His never-ending enthusiasm for knowledge and the positive learning environment at Avisar have recently helped him to obtain his CPA designation. As a young professional, Jonas enjoys working with and learning from Avisar’s clients and his peers and is excited to continue to grow in his role at Avisar.

Outside of work, Jonas enjoys spending time with friends and family. He is a big food fan and enjoys the amazing variety available in the greater Vancouver area.
