Jared Gruenhage

Jared joined Avisar in the fall of 2022 as an accountant on his way to entry into the CPA PEP program. His innate aptitude for mathematics and his desire to continue to grow and develop his accounting and finance skills make him a natural fit for the accounting team at Avisar.

Jared was a decorated graduate at Yale Secondary School, including achieving top honours in grades ten, eleven and twelve and being recognized as an outstanding AP calculus scholar in grade twelve. Jared’s post secondary education took him to Trinity Western University where he made the Dean’s list every year and graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration, Accounting in 2020. He was also nominated for the Governor General’s Silver Medal for achieving one of the top five GPA’s in his class in 2020. He plans to complete the pre-requisites for the CPA PEP program over the coming year so he can enter the program in the fall of 2023. Jared has some experience working in a public practice accounting firm already and the Avisar team is looking forward to putting these pre-existing skills to good use. Jared’s career in the accounting profession is off to a great start and he is excited to continue his education and training at Avisar.

Outside of the office, Jared is a kitchen volunteer at the Salvation Army Gateway of Hope and a youth leader at Village Church. He spends his free time hiking, listening to music and getting exercise.
