Gurbaj Nanhar

Gurbaj joined the Avisar team in the fall of 2024 after earning his Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from Simon Fraser University. Throughout his studies, he developed a passion for ensuring client needs are met with innovative solutions, a mindset he is eager to bring to his CPA journey at Avisar.

Beyond his accounting expertise, Gurbaj helped found HelloHi, an audio guestbook company offering a unique, interactive way to capture memories at events. His entrepreneurial experience honed his problem-solving skills and furthered his ability to adapt in dynamic business environments.

Outside of work, Gurbaj enjoys spending time on adventures with friends and family. He’s also a passionate sports fan, particularly hopeful that his beloved Vancouver Canucks will secure at least one Stanley Cup victory in his lifetime—he’s not asking for much, just one!
