Robert Wegner

Robert brings extensive experience in Canadian and US personal and corporate taxation to his role as Senior Manager for Avisar's Tax Group. Focused on providing tax services to a variety of clients - from owner-managed businesses to international mining and resource companies - Robert consistently operates with precision, strategic analysis and a drive to achieve customer-focussed results. Robert also specializes in research and development and exploration tax incentives (SRED and METC) and in US-Canada cross-border residency tax issues. Robert completed the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountant's In-Depth Tax Course. Prior to joining Avisar, Robert served as a senior accountant with an international accounting firm.

Outside of Avisar, Robert is active in community and non-profit organizations, by serving in various executive, board and mentorship roles.
