As Senior Manager and Team Leader for the Private Company Group, Helmut offers a wealth of general accounting, tax and business expertise, with a focus on privately-owned Canadian corporations. With a keen interest in developing relationships and understanding clients’ needs, Helmut assists business owners in understanding and structuring their business to become profitable, while minimizing their overall tax burden.  Meticulous, analytical and diplomatic by nature, Helmut draws on over 30 years of knowledge and experience in public practice to achieve exceptional results on behalf of his clients.

Outside of work, Helmut enjoys vacationing with his wife, travelling, snow skiing, water sports, and cheering on the Vancouver Canucks.  He is the proud father of a daughter and two sons, and step-father of three additional sons.
